# Which emails does Empregare send and how do I stop receiving them?

## Account and application emails

They arrive while the account is active: welcome messages, password recovery and security alerts, application confirmations, company requests (questionnaires, tests, and interviews), feedback and notices of paid tool requests.

## What you control

- **Job alerts**: at the end of the alert email, tap **Stop this alert** and confirm, no need to log in. You can also pause or delete them in [Job Alerts](https://reverh.empregare.com/pt-br/candidato/alerta).
- **Message notifications**: in [Settings](https://reverh.empregare.com/pt-br/candidato/configuracoes) > **Message Notifications**, turn off **Notify by email**. The notification email also has the **Unsubscribe** link.
- **Empregare updates**: use the link to stop receiving in the email itself, and confirm with **Yes, stop receiving**.
- **Job-specific notices**: if you no longer want to participate, withdraw your application.

## Stop everything

If you no longer want to use Empregare, deactivate your resume or delete your account in Settings > **Close account**. With the resume deactivated, you stop receiving job emails.

## I receive emails without having an account

Someone may have mistakenly used your email. Open a ticket under **Data Privacy** with the email receiving the messages.

## Empregare never asks by email

Your password, verification code, card or payment data to apply. Be suspicious of such messages.
